Welcome to Lake George and the most unique resort in the Adirondacks!

Please note we are not located on the lake however we are 5 minutes away from public lake access and beaches. Please read the entire description to ensure this unique stay is the right fit for you.

Attention winter guests November through March. It is highly recommend you have a four wheel drive vehicle. This rental is located on an un paved road which in winter weather can be unpredictable and cause road challenges. While we do maintain the roads by plowing and salting you may find you will have to park further down hill and walk the remainder of roadway to access rental during times of poor weather. Please also note pathways from parking areas to rentals are also not paved and can be icy and slippery. It is recommended to wear hiking boots, ice grips on your shoes or snow shoes

We do however provide kitchen towels. If you need more at any point during your stay we will gladly refresh them for you

The Watchtower is located at our resort among other cabins. However you will have your privacy as there are no shared spaces around your rental. Grilling station, firepit, hot tub, and grassy areas are private for your use. You will also have access to resort amenities such as the pool (shared) and WiFi. The pool is located down the hill approximately 300 yards away. You must walk to the pool and not drive as parking is limited.

Hot Tub Usage

Please note this is a wood burning hot tub. It is a process to use. You must first fill up the tub (1 hour) then load your wood and begin to heat up. The heating process can take anywhere from 3 to 4 hours depending on how warm you wish the water to be. Our recommendation is to start the process in the morning so it will be ready to enjoy in the evening. You must periodically check on the firewood burning and replenish or stoke as needed. Please no one under the age of 18 operating the hot tub. More detailed instructions on how to operate are located in the house manual. Hot tub is for seasonal use. Season is typically from April through November but may vary based on weather conditions. Please inquire about hot tub usage availability if booking in either November or April.

WiFi disclaimer

Please note that we are in the mountains with limited cell towers and cable internet service. When there is a surge of people in the area WiFi and cell service tend to bog down. Service is best early morning before 8 am and after 11 pm as usage is down at these times. This is not a problem just at our resort but all over the area given the terrain and limited cell towers. Weekends are the worst of times and weekdays have much better service as there are less people in the area fighting for the same service.

There is a designated parking area for The Watchtower. Please note you will have to walk approximately 50 yards from parking area to the watchtower along a mulched path on a slight hill.

We are a non smoking property. There is no smoking in this rental. Pets are welcome on a case by case basis with additional fees. Please inquire before booking with pet request information.

Please note this is an active construction area with other buildings being built in the area. You may encounter construction noise and equipment.
