Please note we are not located on the lake however we are 5 minutes away from public lake access and beaches. Please read the entire description to ensure this unique stay is the right fit for you.

Attention winter guests November through March. It is highly recommend you have a four wheel drive vehicle. This rental is located on an un paved road which in winter weather can be unpredictable and cause road challenges. While we do maintain the roads by plowing and salting you may find you will have to park further down hill and walk the remainder of roadway to access rental during times of poor weather. Please also note pathways from parking areas to rentals are also not paved and can be icy and slippery. It is recommended to wear hiking boots, ice grips on your shoes or snow shoes

What you can expect

The yurt is on an elevated platform. To access you will walk up a spiral staircase. Once on the platform you will find the yurt, bath house, seating area with gas firepit and an outdoor shower and bathtub (seasonal dates vary based on weather inquire for availability. May through September typical.)

Parking for the yurt is approximately 150 yards away from the yurt. You must park in a designated parking area and walk along the path to the yurt.

We supply all soaps and shampoos. We also provide all linens for bedding.

The Yurt is located at our resort among other cabins. However you will have your privacy as there are no shared spaces around your rental. Fire-pit and outdoor showers are private for your use. You will also have access to resort amenities such as the pool (shared) and WiFi (shared). The pool is located down the hill approximately 300 yards away. You must walk to the pool and not drive as parking is limited.

WiFi disclaimer

Please note that we are in the mountains with limited cell towers and cable internet service. When there is a surge of people in the area WiFi and cell service tend to bog down. Service is best early morning before 8 am and after 11 pm as usage is down at these times. This is not a problem just at our resort but all over the area given the terrain and limited cell towers. Weekends are the worst of times and weekdays have much better service as there are less people in the area fighting for the same service.
